The artificial soldiers of Pristine King Malcerr, who uses them to carry out his various commands. It is still a mystery as to how they were created, but thousands of them now exist. Malcerr desired their metal scales to be a glistening white color, similar to his own scales. Neo-Dracoids feature deadlier body parts than the Voltii’s older models, including sharper claws, wings, horns, and spikes. Their tails include a heavy iron barb that can slice through dragon scales like butter. Plasma is present in the transparent spikes and underbelly of a Neo-Dracoid, and their new cores provide an endless supply of it to be breathed out. The thin spikes near their glowing red eyes indicate their role, with most appearing a common black, while a few feature a bright red shade— the mark of a Neo-Dracoid captain.
Very few dragons in Creowyn are hatched with a Spectria. Simply put, this is a surplus of the inner element inside them.
Rarer still, a dragon with a Spectria must be taught by another dragon (who can harness their own Spectria) in order to use Spectrial Weapons. No dragon can learn to wield Spectrial Weapons on their own.
A Spectrial Weapon is created when a dragon mentally transforms the breath they breathe out into a new shape. From there, it can be controlled as easily as how someone moves their own arm. However, it requires much practice, discipline, and concentration to utilize in a fight.
Spectrial Weapons appear mostly transparent while they float, possessing a faint hue determined by the type of dragon it was summoned by:
Cyndra = red
Frossila = blue
Terra = green
Vivox = purple
Silgail = silver
Voltii = yellow
Pristine = white
Umbrai = black
Dragons cannot choose which Spectrial Weapon they create. It simply takes the form according to the personality and ideals of the dragon who summoned it:
Blade - Only 1 can be formed. Used as a typical sword.
Dossettes - 4 can be formed. Acts as a double-ended sword; can be spun in a circle for defense or thrown like a boomering.
Gliccors - No limit to quantity formed. Thrown like daggers or ninja stars.
Shields - 2 can be formed. Used as a typical shield.
There are no elemental advantages. The only factor is the matchup of weapon type, including raw dragon breath itself. Dragons can also use their breath when a Spectrial Weapon is in use, though it is more mentally taxing.
(Pending reference image of one of the Balancers using fusion breath)
Pristine King Thatador gifted his Balancer with this power for connecting with the other dragon kingdoms as well as its naturally useful properties.
Pristine dragons can inherintly harness light in their central crystalline horns, which is used to breathe lightfyre. After proper training, the Balancers can magically form a new color in the horn to fuse the light with an additional element. The type of fusion breath is determined by what hue is created:
Crimson = fire-infused lightfyre.
Sapphire = ice-infused lightfyre
Emerald = solar-infused lightfyre
Amethyst = poison-infused lightfyre
Silver = wind-infused lightfyre
Amber = electric-infused lightfyre.
Simply put, fusion breath enhances an element's power using lightfyre. For example, a single use of a Frossila's ice breath could frost a small pond, while a single use of a Balancer's ice-infused lightyre could freeze an entire lake.
(Pending reference image of one of the Prismclaws abosrbing another dragon's element with a talon)
Pristine King Malcerr followed Thatador's example, but only partially. He simply desired for his Prismclaws to become more dangerous with the use of additional dragon elements.
Being so named, the Prismclaws can absorb the inner elements of dragons directly through their talons. In a more vicious manner than using their horns to harness light, the Prismclaws utilize it through their talons.
One stab can fully absorb the victim's element, bringing death to the dragon instantly. Afterwards, the Prismclaw has a single use of the absorbed element's power before it runs out.
In comparison to a Balancer's fusion breath, a Prismclaw's elementally charged talons possess far more power but have limited use--- other than the fact it is ultimately more cruel to harness.
(Pending reference image of Celestic Scales)
The most powerful ability a dragon of Creowyn can possess. Pristine King Thatador is the only dragon known to have Celestic Scales, and none since.
Little is known about their origin, or even how a dragon is hatched with them in the first place. The abilities provided by Celestic Scales were only made known by Thatador.
Celestic Scales grant a dragon the power to:
Heal dragons from severe wounds--- even saving them from the brink of death.
Provides comfort to other nearby dragons. Their depression causes the scales to glow and shine upon the subject, filling them with rejuvinating light.
Heals dragons from Fellsmog and cleanses a dragon's mind from the black venom of an Umbrai. Requires their decision to touch the scales.
Naturally use fusion breath with any element, no training required.
In addition, Celestic Scales will glow to alert the dragon who possesses them of something they should pay attention to. This could be some type of imminent danger, or a dragon who could use their power.
Dragons with Celestic Scales are treated with the highest respect in Creowyn. So far, this has only included Thatador. If there were to be more dragons with Celestic Scales, however, they would undoubtedly be treated with similar reverence.
